Cintoo joins forces with Digital Twin Consortium
Cintoo has become a member of rapidly expanding Digital Twin Consortium; an organization whose
goal is to drive adoption, use, interoperability and development of digital twin technology.
The Consortium was established by Object Management Group along with several founders,
including Autodesk, Microsoft and Dell.
As part of Cintoo’s involvement with the member-driven organization, US CEO, Dominique
Pouliquen, will participate in various working groups to champion Reality Capture as one of the key
foundations of the Digital Twin industries, which include construction, infrastructure, automotive,
manufacturing, energy and oil & gas.
Dominique commented: “Using Reality Capture technology, such as laser scanning, is the best way
to obtain an accurate, virtual replica of your existing assets. Not only does this allow you to
update
your Digital Twin models but also to bring real-world context into any 3D simulation
“We’re helping many companies in Digital Twin industries put their Reality Capture data to better
use, saving them time and money.
“We’re looking forward to participating in this fast-growing ecosystem and bridging the gap between
Reality Capture and Digital Twins to deliver operational efficiencies for companies across these
industries.”
“We are delighted to welcome Cintoo to Digital Twin Consortium,” said Dr. Richard Soley, Executive
Director, Digital Twin Consortium. “Their expertise and experience in reality capture technologies
will be an asset to our members.”
